Not every shipment needs to be stored. Sometimes a container needs emptying, a load needs splitting, and the freight needs to keep moving the same week it lands.
Container devanning and destuffing
We unload shipping containers, whether they arrive palletized or floor-loaded. Floor-loaded containers are hand-unloaded, sorted, stacked onto pallets and wrapped, with a piece count taken as the work happens, so you know what actually arrived against what the packing list claimed.
Timing matters more here than in most warehouse work, because demurrage and detention charges accrue while a container sits. Book the container in with us ahead of its arrival date and we will have a window and the labour ready for it.
Cross-docking
Cross-docking moves freight from an inbound vehicle straight onto an outbound one without it ever entering storage. It is the right answer when a single inbound load is destined for several places: splitting a container across multiple retail destinations, consolidating several small shipments into one full load, or transloading from a highway trailer into vehicles that can practically make city deliveries.
Because the goods are never put away, you are paying for handling rather than for storage.
Freight: LTL, FTL and courier
We arrange outbound freight to suit the size of the shipment. Less-than-truckload for anything from a single pallet upward, full truckloads where the volume justifies it, and courier for parcels. If your freight is already booked with your own carrier, we will simply load it.
Local delivery across the GTA
We handle deliveries into Toronto, North York, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Mississauga, Brampton and Scarborough.
Customs
We are not a customs broker and we will not pretend otherwise. We receive freight once it has cleared, and we are used to working alongside whichever broker you already use. If you have not appointed one yet, tell us and we will point you somewhere sensible.
Related services
Devanned freight usually needs somewhere to go afterwards, which is pallet storage. If the goods are headed to individual customers rather than to a retailer, order fulfillment picks up from there.
